I literally have not had a pierogi since college. One of my college roommates was from Pittsburg and like their die-hard love for the Steelers, pierogis are a big thing there.
So first, yes I have been super MIA.
When I spend time with children, as I have during the holidays, I start to remember and reminisce about what it was like. One of the most beautiful things that I learned from this holiday season is being fearless. They have no idea what it means to be “embarrassed.” That is a beautiful thing.
Most people LOVE breakfast. I like breakfast at home and rarely like breakfast at a restaurant. Two things I am a sucker for: unique breakfast ideas and bread baskets. This is almost both.

I have been making this carrot ginger soup since literally years ago. Since the days when my friends and I would hang out in my apartment and I was using second-hand pots/pans to make this delicious soup.
Asians love Asian food. Like, they will travel to other states to eat at different Chinatowns.
